Proudly produced in the U.S.A. White Oak is undoubtedly the most commonly sold species, noted for attractive light brown hues and a variety of character grades to suit many different design styles. Known for hardness and stability, White Oak is a versatile wood floor that can be used in almost any space.

A Janka hardness rating of 1,290 makes Red Oak the industry standard for hardness and durability. The familiar reddish-brown colors offer a warm Traditional style with practical performance for lasting beauty. Oak is less affected by UV ambering caused by the sun over time so the color of the floor stays more consistent throughout the years.

Maple is ideally suited for the demands of everyday life. It has been used as sports courts and performance stages for years, so you know it can handle your high-traffic space. Unique rays and grain patterns make it an appealing wood under any finish.

Walnut is a sophisticated species with deep, chocolate hues, stunning auburn undertones, and varied grain patterns, creating an impressive floor both with and without stain. Walnut's natural beauty has made it a popular choice for gunstocks and even early airplane propellers.

Reclaimed wood is wood retrieved from its original source and applied for use in a new or existing structure. Reclaimed wood is often rescued from old barns, factories and warehouses, although it can come from almost any structure, including boxcars, coal mines and wine barrels. Many consumers refer to reclaimed wood as "distressed." Although it can have a distressed appearance, this is not always the case. Reclaimed or antique wood offers unique, one-of-a-kind flooring. Many of our customers would like the look of antique wood but sometimes it is not in the budget. That is why we perfected our proprietary HarbourCraft flooring, which mimics the look of a naturally aged and distressed floor but using new materials for a more affordable alternative.

Hickory Floor Sample

Hickory is one of the hardest American domestic species, which is beneficial for high traffic and active households. The natural, unique color variations from light to dark and distinctive character of the wood can offer advantages in hiding daily abuse such as dents and scratches. This means less cleaning and maintenance to keep your floors looking good.

Douglas Fir Floor Sample

A local favorite, Douglas Fir is an affordable wood floor full of character and rich color. We recommend textures and stain to complement the rustic knotty appearance and to help the floor age gracefully between maintenance coats. Vertical Grain is a straight grain classic version of this wood used often in historical buildings and old structures where sturdy wood floors were desired ages ago.
